TAURINE
A clinical trial in which overweight and obese men were given 3
grams of TAURINE a day for 7 weeks experienced a significant
reduction in serum fatty acid levels and overall reduction in
bodyweight.
TAURINE is a key ingredient in bile (it was actually originally
named Taurus, which means bull or ox, as it was first isolated
from ox bile) and is required for fat digestion.
CAFFEINE
Caffeine can provide the energy you need to get through your
workouts. It can also serve as a powerful energy boost for those
days that you just don’t seem to have the energy to make it
through a hard training session.
It helps to increase the rate of lipolysis (fat burning) and can
increase metabolism. Caffeine has also been found to help
suppress the appetite.
CLA
CLA works to reduce body fat by preventing fat accumulation in
fat cells. Fat normally enters the fat cell through a door that is
controlled by an enzyme that acts as the key. By acting on this
enzyme, CLA keeps the door locked. When the door is locked, fat
cannot enter the cells and they are prevented from increasing in
size. The less fat present in the cells, the smaller and less mature
they become. This helps to reduce the level of fat in your body.
The increased breakdown of fat helps to fuel and preserve muscle
mass, which in turn increases lean muscle mass.
GREEN COFFEE
Touted as a potentially effective weapon against the obesity
epidemic that continues to plague almost all developed nations,
unfermented and unroasted green coffee beans – more
specifically their natural, active compound, Chlorogenic acid
(CGA) – have captivated researchers for their remarkable ability
to reduce insulin activity, stabilize blood glucose and, ultimately,
encourage fat to be burned for energy.
